Chorfy Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the Chorfy app and related services. By creating an account, creating or joining a Family, or permitting a child to use Chorfy, you agree to these terms.
Who may use Chorfy
An adult who creates or manages a Family must have authority to do so and must be legally able to agree to these terms. Child profiles must be created and supervised by an authorised adult. Chorfy is a family organisation tool and is not a substitute for adult judgement, supervision, professional advice, or emergency services.
Accounts, Families, and security
- Provide accurate account information and keep sign-in methods, devices, Family codes, and Family PINs secure.
- Only invite people who are authorised to access the Family.
- The Family organiser and authorised admins control roles, profile visibility, devices, approvals, and other Family settings.
- Ownership and billing responsibilities must be transferred through Chorfy's protected process before an organiser leaves where required.
Family content
You retain rights in content you add. You grant Chorfy the limited permission needed to host, process, resize, synchronise, display, and deliver that content for the service. You are responsible for having permission to add information or images about another person, especially a child. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or privacy-invasive content.
Third-party educational media
Chorfy may display educational images, illustrations, scientific visualisations, photographs, reconstructions, and interactive 3D models supplied by third parties. Chorfy may crop, isolate, optimise, convert, or render approved media for in-app presentation where the source terms permit it. NASA does not endorse Chorfy. Chorfy may replace or remove third-party media if its permissions, availability, or technical requirements change.
Some Chorfy learning illustrations are created or refined using generative AI and are selected, edited, and reviewed for educational presentation. They are illustrations rather than photographs and may simplify or approximate visual details.

Global rankings
Global rankings use a separate public nickname and an initials or emoji avatar; Family photo avatars are never public ranking avatars. Family participation is enabled by default with a pseudonymous identity and can be disabled by an authorised admin. Linked adults may also hide or manage their own public identity. Do not use a public nickname to share contact details, impersonate, harass, sexualise, threaten, or expose another person. Chorfy may validate, limit, hide, or remove public identities and may retain reports needed for moderation and safety. Users may report or privately block a public profile. Ranking position and availability can change as scores, settings, moderation, and the service change.
Rewards, money, and Screen Time
Chorbs, badges, collection cards, missions, and similar items are app features, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred outside Chorfy unless the app expressly says otherwise. Pocket-money records are organisational records; Chorfy does not hold or transfer funds.
Screen Time features depend on supported Apple devices, permissions, Family Controls, operating-system behaviour, and adult configuration. They may be delayed, unavailable, or affected by Apple's Downtime, App Limits, passcode, device state, or platform changes. Adults remain responsible for supervision and native device controls.
Subscriptions and store purchases
If paid products become available, the price, billing period, trial, renewal, and included features will be shown before purchase. Store purchases are also governed by Apple App Store or Google Play terms. Subscription cancellation and refunds are handled through the purchasing store except where applicable law requires otherwise. Access may remain linked to the purchasing account even if the Family organiser changes.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass permissions, access another Family without authorisation, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected services except where law permits, automate abusive requests, distribute malware, or use Chorfy to exploit, harass, or endanger another person. Chorfy may limit or suspend access needed to protect users, Families, providers, or the service.
Availability and changes
Chorfy may change, improve, pause, or discontinue features. Shared data and notifications depend on networks and third-party platforms and are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Important Family decisions should not rely solely on a notification or Screen Time status.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chorfy is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Chorfy is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Ending use
You may stop using Chorfy and request account deletion. Some ownership, retention, security, transaction, and provider obligations may continue as described in the Privacy Policy. Chorfy may suspend or end access for material breach, abuse, legal requirements, or risk to users or the service.
Changes and contact
Updated terms will show a new version or effective date. If a material change requires consent, Chorfy will request it through an appropriate channel. Questions can be sent to support@chorfy.com.
